DBIT graduates meet, gain diploma and find love after leaving SP!

Yesterday, I attended Augustin Chan and Serene Lim's wedding at Swissotel The Stamford.
A little background - Augustin and Serene met as classmates in the Diploma in Business Information Technology course in 2003, fell in love and finally tied the knot on 31 December 2011.
Augustin was Singapore Polytechnic's 1st National Infocomm Scholarship (NIS) Scholar. At Singapore Polytechnic, Augustine led the team that won the NETS Innovator Series Competition with a business plan that incorporated bioinformatics to power the next generation of cashless and card less e-transactions.
When we asked Augustin his views on DBIT, he said "DBIT course forced me to be more mature as the lecturer will teach and it is up to me to complete the assignments. They treated me with care as a friend and respect as an adult. I had to manage my time well as there were a lot of projects that all ending at the same time. The poly also helped me to apply and improve myself as there were presentations for almost every project."

"Nothing comes easy. But with determination I will be able to achieve what I want if I put in the effort," shared Augustin.
Listen to Augustin talk about:

Augustin's at BT Frontline as a Technical Consultant, and Serene's at KPMG as an Associate Audit. To Augustin and Serene, "Have Fun, in your next chapter of life!". And to you, enjoy the couple's wedding dinner's video.
